So long as there isn’t a lot of port-to-port local traffic that it needs to route, it will have no problem. The switch is implemented in hardware, so local switched traffic doesn’t matter.
The reason you will be okay is basically this simple — the maximum routing load is about 1Mbps, which is well within what the 56GS’ CPU can handle.
